Fruit break-where are the bananas?

At 10am everyday, SCA students have a fruit break. This has been a huge success with fruits and vegies being consumed by the bucket loads. Max was sniffing around for a juicy banana.......

Pinata Fun @ SCA

As part of our feast week celebrations, the children and staff participated in many exciting activities. One was Pinata Fun, which was well received by all, except the pinatas!!!!!

Max dusts up Dusty

Max the Monkey is very good at cards, especially Texas Hold 'Em and Uno. He made Mr D look like a chimp during a quick game during some down time. Where is your class Mr D?

Max Jumps Rope For Heart

St Clare of Assisi participates in Jump Rope For Heart every year. Children raise money through sponsorship or through a gold coin donation. We have a skipping day once a year, which is normally held during our feast week. Max said he was very tired but a lot healthier after his exercise!!!!!!!!

Max looks for dinosaurs

This morning Year One took me to a dig site to look for fossilised
dinosaur bones. It was a very dangerous excursion, as volcanos were
erupting everywhere. We got there safely and I started digging. Soon I had
found a fossil. I was very excited. I cracked the fossil rock open and
found the remains of a Parasaurolophus inside. I loved being a
palaeontologist!

Today we had a visitor called Max. We went to the sand pit with Max. He
dug up a Parasaurolophus. It was very exciting for Max. I hope that we can
see him again. I like Max a lot.

This morning we travelled to the dig site again. There were erupting
volcanos. We took Max the monkey with us. I was allowed to find a fossil
bone. We cracked it open and there was a Parasaurolophus in side.

Today we had Max in our class. Everyone was excited. We had fun with him.
He went to Year Six.

Today we met Max the monkey. We took Max to the dig site. He was digging
and digging, then he got one!

Today we showed Max the monkey where the bones were hidden. Max the Monkey
was digging and digging until he found a fossilised bone. He was really
excited. He found a Parasaurolophus. He was even more excited. Then we
travelled back to the classroom. Harrison and I were already taking the
note bag down to the front office. Then we took the books to the library.

Today we had a visitor. It was Max the Monkey. We showed him the dig site.
He was amazed. Mackayla cracked the ball of the fossil for Max. There was
a tiny dinosaur inside, it was a Parasuarlolphus. He thought it was
smashing. Now the Year Sixes have him. Goodbye Max.

Today Max the Monkey came to One Stincic. We took him to the dig site. Max
the Monkey had to dig and dig. Max the Monkey finally found a fossil, but
he went to Year Six. We said goodbye to Max.

Today we found fossilised bones for Max. It was a Parasaurolophus. He
loved it so much that he wanted to keep it, but he couldn't keep it. He
looked so beautiful and he is cute. I wish I could hold him and I really
liked him.
